(a) This is how you tell someone when you were born:

Sono nato/a il 23 settembre. (I was born on September 23rd.)

Sono nato/a il primo gennaio. (I was born on January 1st.)

Sono nato/a nel  1990. (I was born in 1990.)

— Vengo dagli Stati Uniti.

 

For this, we use the verb venire, which conjugates as follows:
